Who We Are
We are located centrally between Flint, Lansing, and Saginaw in the state of Michigan. We also have National Rescue links in almost every state. Can't find a certain breed's rescue? Ask us, we offer a breed referral service too!
Adopting a friend
As our responsibility to the breed requires, all pets for adoption are altered before they are placed. Our fosters are kept for a minimum of two weeks for evaluation before they are placed. You must fill out an adoption application and send it in (by e-mail or snail mail). After your application has been approved, we will contact you to set up a home visit.

Please do not call before you have submitted an application. We process request for specific dogs by what order the application comes in and by who is the best match for the dog.

Please call ahead for an appointment. I will be more than happy to open my home to those wanting to meet the breed first hand. My goal is to educate everyone to the best of my abilities on the Chesapeake breed, because this is DEFINATELY not a breed for everyone. They are highly motivated, very energetic, and need a job or else they will be bored...and that is a very bad thing for this breed. Because of their intelligence, they will physicaly & behaviorally drive you insane if they are bored. I welcome everyone to meet my dogs so they can get a first hand impression of whether or not this is the breed for them.
